1. Overview
Kung Fu Spam is an Android call-screening application designed to allow calls from saved contacts and reject calls from unknown numbers. This policy explains how the app handles information.
2. Contacts permission
The app requests read-only access to your device contacts. That access is used locally to compare an incoming telephone number with numbers saved on your device. Kung Fu Spam does not upload or transmit your contacts to us.
3. Call screening
Android provides incoming-call information to the app so it can determine whether a call should be allowed or rejected. The decision is made on your device. Rejected calls may remain visible in your phone's call history and, depending on your carrier and settings, may be routed to voicemail.
4. Emergency Safe List
Numbers you add to the Emergency Safe List are stored locally on your device. They are used only to allow those numbers through when protection is enabled.
5. Information we do not collect
Kung Fu Spam does not require an account and does not collect or sell your contact list. The current app does not include advertising trackers or analytics services.
6. Data retention and deletion
App preferences and safe-list numbers remain on your device until you remove them, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app.
7. Children's privacy
Kung Fu Spam is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the current version.
